The Canadian Nursing Students’ Association 2017 National Conference will take place January 25 to January 28th in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Please click here for more information.

Pre-conference: Tuesday January 24th, 2017. Please refer to the schedule for times and location of pre-conference workshops.

Conference: Wednesday January 25 – Saturday, January 28th, 2017. The Conference is a four-day event that includes multiple events, speakers, and an extensive exhibition fair.

The conference will be held at the Radisson Downtown Winnipeg Hotel, located at 288 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0B8. The Radisson is currently offering discounted room rate for our conference attendees at a price of $129/night for quad occupancy. This years theme is Cultural Safety, we are going to be Celebrating Diversity- breaking barriers through the exploration of cultural safety. Through this conference, attendees will have an empowering opportunity to explore cultural safety through a wide variety of speakers, workshops, food, dance, and social events

The 2017 CNSA National Conference welcomes nursing students, scholars, graduates, and professionals from all over Canada to attend our conference as a spectator.

Registration

If your school is a CNSA chapter member, then you are automatically a member of CNSA and are eligible for CNSA member rates. For a full list of current chapter schools, please visit http://cnsa.ca/membership/current-chapter-members/. If you are not a member of CNSA, you will be offered a non-CNSA member conference rate.

Yes, one day registration packages can be purchased for $90/day if bought prior to December 1, 2016 and $110/day if bought after December 1, 2016.

Registrations that are cancelled up to six week before the meeting will be refunded minus a $50 administrative fee.Registrations that are cancelled with less than six week’s notice will be refunded minus a $150 administrative fee.

There will be no refunds for no-shows.

CNSA reserves the right to cancel this conference and any group activity that does not meet minimal group requirements. Non-refundable airline tickets are the responsibility of the registrant.

Yes, following the conference we will email you a Certification of Attendance.

Most nursing schools provide nursing students with clinical hours for attending a conference. The number of hours given vary by each school. Please contact your school administrator for more information.

No. The conference is a professional event. Therefore attendees must be dressed in business casual attire during conference events such as speakers, workshops and meetings.
